Overview
Unlike the pretty static poses of the Royal Guards the royal guard captain figure is all about its dynamic and action packed posing. Coming with both a riding variant and standing one this model can definitely tell a story. I also love that I could paint this model as a female if I wish.
However my favorite portion of this set is the fact that the horses are so incredible. I don’t have many horse models that I love yet and this can be a great figure for the collection.
I did experience one small issue with printing this model and that was some delamination of the riding guard captain’s cape. This cleared itself up with another attempt and increasing the exposure time slightly. You should not have issue printing this model.
Print Issues/ Areas of Improvement
Looking at the back cape of the royal guard captain you can see lines on the model indicating delamination. Upon washing and curing those layers separated. Reprinting the model cleared up the issue though.
