Project Main: Lost Adventures Vol 2
Overview
The Elder Water Elemental from the Lost Adventures vol 2 kickstarter is somewhat special for me. It is special in several ways the first of which is the fact that this print was both the longest duration & most material used in a single print when I printed this model December 30, 2020. I was capable of test printing this model for the team at Lost Adventures co so some support placement and part fitting may be slightly different that observed here. Since that time I have printed much larger pieces and even wasted a significant amount of resin but we will talk about that another time.
Instantaneously after printing this model I was inspired to paint it. After just finishing the Purple Worm painting project I was inspired to continue my glazing practice with blue instead of purple. However I do believe I was a bit overzealous as I have not finished painting the model and was distracted by other things. I hope to give this guy some justice. I think the largest reason why I stopped is the intimidation of attempting to paint the armor plating on the elemental and really give it a magical appearance. I decided I wanted more practice with gold armor before coming back to him. Make sure you all hold me to it!

I almost experienced utter disaster printing this model as the supports going to the top of the model were starting to fail but made it just enough! My exposure time was barely enough but I did it!
