Project Main: Lost Adventures Vol 1
Overview
Wolves I would consider as one of the fundamental miniatures. Any dungeon master can always use wolf miniatures in your collection because without a doubt they will be needed sooner rather than later. This set of wolf figures are from the Lost Adventures Vol 1 Kickstarter and overall I will admit are not my favorites aesthetically. I personally do not like the sharp pointed ears of wolves and more cartoon style of the fur. However you can use these models a lot as an example of how much the hobby has changed over the years.
During the release of the Lost Adventures vol 1 kickstarter 3d printing has taken a major shift from predominately filament FDM printing to predominately resin printing for what hobbyists own as well as use for miniatures. The fur on these wolves are made in such a way that texture could come out on an FDM printer easily and would result in a texture that is harder to accomplish in filament.
Overall these came out relatively easily with a few issues with supports on the tails and paws. However after a few attempts I got the models to come out. I am most likely going to try different fur painting methods on these wolves in the future.
Print Issues/ Areas of Improvement
I did encounter a few printing issues with these models in the tails and paws. Overall however it was mostly due to my print settings and not at fault of the mdoels.
