Project Main: Lost Adventures Vol 2
Overview
Now that I think about it. I do not think i’ve ever fought a Quipper in Dungeons and Dragons before. Yet another great reason for this social experiment of “working through that digital pile of shame” is working. These fish which are tiny beasts are actually a common and famous dish served at the Yawning Portal in the city of Waterdeep. If you don’t know the Yawning Poral is a tavern where many many stories of 5th edition D&D start, encounter and/or reference. I have definitely role played severing my parting “Quipper and Chips” but never have we fought these creatures.
I look forward to painting these little fellas up after I worked on the fishers hut and just imagine the type of fighting it takes to reel these nasty creatures in for that delightful meal that is so well known. This is definitely encouraging me to write an encounter to fight Quipper. The one thing I do really appreciate about the swarm model is the fact that these are technically size class of Tiny. However a swarm is a common occurrence and fits in a square very easily. Overall these were easy prints with no difficulty at all. I was so exited to prime them up and get ready for painting that I didn’t take a group shot of them… oops.
