Overview

If you are going to print a variety of miniatures why not also print a variety of bases. This variety pack from the Lost Adventures 1 kickstarter contains 16 different bases mostly contained in 3 categories: Rocky, Dirt, and Cobblestone. I have been intending to grow my base collection to give my models more variety and story telling These are a great addition to that growing database.

On top of that, special recognition goes to the entire Lost Adventure kickstarter as there are significantly more bases in the entire collection than just these 16. Many miniatures come with their own unique bases and many of which come with the bases removed. I am still in the process of counting all the bases available in the All-In for the kickstarter but is more than almost any other project i’ve ever backed.

I also have to make a special shoutout that printing these bases have been the closest to perfectly round of any bases i’ve printed in resin to date. I’m definitely taking notes on how to support my own bases from looking at this collection.

Layer Height: 0.05 mm

Time to Print all components: 9 hr 52 min (Printed in 3 sets).
Resin to Print: 59.70g
Estimated Cost to Print: $2.45 or approximately $0.15 per base

Print settings were changed for bases 13-16 as exposure times were being dialed in for better printing.
