Overview
RAWR! Check out these great bear models from the Lost Adventures vol 1 collection. These are yet another installment of my growing printed collection from this kickstarter. The one things I love about these models is their simplicity and yet detail of the tuffs of fur. These are by far the closest to actual gameplay size of a large monster for D&D as my other bears are small companions from the Reaper Miniature line.
The largest downside I image about these models is the difficulty of painting for the bear on the rock. I printed the base and the model attached so reaching to paint the rocks and bear underside will be a challenge for sure. But we will see how it turns out! I printed the standing bear in two pieces, base and bear. All in all these were great prints that came out super smoothly.
Print Issues/ Areas of Improvement
These printed models currently had no issues printing. If I was going to nitpick anything at all it would be that the standing bears feet are a bit rounded instead of flat which will require me to sand down slightly before gluing. I experienced no issues with supports and everything came out great.
